giant breast

even with the new front though it's hard to disguise the fact it's basically still a giant breast.

Didn't they just get their budget cut?

^Yes, but they're paying for the renovations/construction with a donor gift that was earmarked for this specific project. I believe it was $15,000,000 that can only be spent on upgrading the basketball arena.

There was a thing on the news the other night where they were talking about this now just going away. Like it was going to be demolished?

^I haven't heard anything like that, but if they go ahead with the proposed renovation, will the number of seats increase, decrease or remain the same?

Buck - as of now the plan says capacity will decrease from around 9100 to 8500 - it will be 'bigger' but I think there will be no more 'bench' seats (all new seat backs) & that takes a lot of space. when i was at chapel hill, they replaced all the seat backs with benches in carmichael auditorium & increased capacity from 8800 to 10000.

I found the article referring to it being "replaced" and apparently they're just saying it's such a massive renovation, with really nothing of the original building left but the dome skeleton they're bascially referring to it as a new building.
