Miami's bad traffic and rude drivers (worst in the USA) makes driving more unplesent in Miami than Atlanta. From my experience, the most annoying thing about about Atlanta traffic is that it's jammed up for long distances (I guess because of the higher density in Miami gives people shorter commute times).

^ density does not equal urbanity.
Miami does sprawl and it is a major component of the traffic.

Miami did Sprawl and it does continue to sprawl, take the drive down to Homestead or out to Weston if you don't believe me.

Let me say again, density does not equal urbanity. Miami, like LA, has uniform density across the urban area that makes traffic worse. Our business districts are far flung and not linked logically. What we have is a greater density of automobiles. We have what I term Dense Sprawl.

Things are getting better, but your hyperbole isn't going to help.
