this is the only music video i have seen filmed in Houston,
it's indian but i like it and it's kool because no one can go on top of that building,

I've tried looking for it but all I can find are "live" performances of that song!

The Clash's "Rock the Cashbah" was filmed in Austin in ~1981. It shows downtown, including the Capitol and skyline from the south. And it shows then Bergstrom Air Force Base with two F4 Phantoms landing there. That's neat, because that air base closed in 1995 and is now occupied by our airport.

I realize this thread is 4, almost 5 years old, but I have a whole playlist of music videos filmed in Detroit and I have nothing better to do than watch music videos on Youtube.

For the sake of not generating lag, I only embedded two videos and link'd the rest of them (cheers on ya if you check all of them out). Let the homerism ensue!

In a non-homerism post, I really enjoy this ambient music video of Chicago. This filmmaker actually had a lot of similar styled videos up on vimeo, but I guess once he made this official video, he decided/had to take all the other ones down. They were really good too. Made me want to just ride around on the subway while listening to this music.
