Cruising Shanghai's Expressways at Night

I'm thinking of making one of these myself in Shanghai this summer... Until then, enjoy this one!

Absolutely awesome - what a city!

If you get the chance you should really make some movies!

How long will you be staying there?

I'll certainly think about it!

Only about 1½ month this time, unfortunately. School at CBS starts in mid-August again...

Groovy.

That interchange starting at 3:31 has to be the most stylish interchnage I've ever seen.

Love city videos... I feel I could try that too but unfortunately a decent video cam (I'm not talking about those cheap camcorders) is absolutely out of my fiancial range for now...

Amazing! Driving the freeways here at night sure is an amazing experience. The video does a pretty good job at capturing it, but as with everything else, this is something you really have to see for yourself, in person.

cool

awesome video......what is the speed limit on the roads that video was filmed on? It seemed like the person who was driving, was doing so fairly conservatively.....lol i guess that just means that I drive like a nut, I suppose...In some of the areas on the video I would have had the urge to do at least 200kph....but then again I do not know the laws governing driving in mainland china lol....

I have no idea about the speed limit as I've never gone faster than like 60-70 km/h one them, considering how busy they are with cars.

I think most areas the limit is 80, but traffic is lucky if it goes 30 or 40 (usually a lot less) most days given the traffic.

Even in the middle of the night? say 02:00 to 04:00?
