Can anyone identify this building (circa 1959 - 1962)

While looking for some family pictures to share this Christmas, I came across this photo that would have been taken when my parents lived in Calgary for the first time between 1959 and 1962.

My Mom

Does anyone have any idea where this might be?

Before my time, but discussed here before, that's Happy Valley.

Thanks, I stared at that for an hour and never noticed the diving board or swimming pool.

If I interpret that PDF correctly it was torn down in 2002?

Looks like a resort you would see in a James Bond movie, too bad it got torn down.

Cool pictures. I actually remember Happy Valley. I was pretty young when I went there, but still remember it.

That concrete building looks like a real bunker! Our own version of an above ground Diefenbunker.

I sure wish that Happy Valley would have survived! It sounds like it was a lot of fun and created memories for many a family! And now, Valley Ridge subdivision is expanding again to the west. Sigh! I despise sprawl!
