Beautiful photos, I've been to Columbus once and really like the city, but I didn't have the place to myself like you did.

Downtown Columbus has been practically underconstruction since 2007 and will likely be mostly done by 2020. It's a work in progress from the ills of the 70's but it's coming back in a big way. Great photos.

So much potential. Eerily empty, though. Pretty much how I remember it.

Ah. How interesting. I've been interested in Columbus for a while now for whatever reason. I just might visit.

It's been a little over 7 years since this thread. Thought I'd take a quick walk around this afternoon and show some before and afters of some of these locations. These are just phone camera pictures and cropped down to be close in size to the originals. Perhaps I'll do a full photo thread sometime late fall/early summer with full size pics. Or maybe Chicago3rd can come back soon for a retour?

It looks like they made the river significantly smaller, not sure if I would have done that. Looks good though.

Skylines from certain angles of Columbus, OH look exactly like skylines from some certain angles of Nashville, TN, check them out if you doubt.

Never been there, looks a bit too clean for my tastes!

Where are all the people?

Thanks much for the tour!
