loved every photo. calgary looks more sophisticated than usual through your lens. it has always been there in person but i think it is hard to capture that on film and you have. great job.

Again, many thanks to all of you! This rather unexpected positive response has definitely motivated me to keep going! I don't have much else of Calgary to show right now (at least, nothing I'd deem to be of sufficient quality), but you can bet I'll be getting out to take photos as often as I can.
Surreal: Yeah, getting good shots with people can be a bit awkward. Especially with a fairly bulky D7000. I kind of took the easy way out with some of these and used a 55-200mm lens. But, the 35mm f/1.8 cranked fairly wide open allows for some quick, not too noticeable shots when I'm walking through a crowd.

I wonder if it would be okay to add some of my shots to this? I took quite a few shots on Saturday, and they would probably be nice additions to the "Winter Season"
