I don't have the pic to post, but I know of some aerials where you can see Springfield, MA and Hartford, CT in the same shot.

i had no clue Mississauga had a skyline like that. of the one's shown, that one and Houston are the best but Houston's are in the same city .Having said that I dont think anything can compare to the 4 that the NYC area has (from left to right veiwing Staten Island) Jersey City, Midtown, Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn as Hunser shows an aerial of

And here you can see the Gold Coast skyline in the far background, 70+km from Brisbane in the foreground

I guess it doesn't count since it was a pano, but some years ago someone did one featuring the downtown LA skyline along with three or four other skylines to its left. I have the pano saved on my computer, but can't post it since I don't know who originally took it

pm me if you wanna see it.

i should've said "several skylines in one shot..."

now that this thread has been broken in, let me ask this question now, since it was what inspired this thread...

is there an aerial shot in existence (from whatever elevation) that depicts philly and nyc in a pan ?

I'd love to see a shot of Downtown Toronto, Midtown Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke and Mississauga all in one shot, which will be an aerial for sure!

EDIT: However, that will expose Mississauga, Etobicoke, and Scarborough's lack of "meat", which only shows potential!

yea I should have specified... these dont have to be conventional foreground midground type shots from the ground. they could be from the air and panoramic as well.

The cities across the bay were one of my first thoughts. This is a fine pic and am glad they incorporated some of Oakland's port cranes http://www.flickr.com/photos/rudisillart/540630177/

Like some of these above.

Plus the elevation from above looking down to sea level and looking at SF in the distance makes this a very nice pic.

This isn't a multiple skyline shot, but I find it fascinating. It is an aerial skyline shot of Charlotte, North Carolina from Grandfather Mountain which is about 80 miles northwest of Charlotte. Asheville is closer to the mountain, only about 55 miles from it.

As we speculated in that other thread, it would have to be taken prolly from a helicopter midway between the two cities, multiple photos stitched together but it would be the holy grail of American skyline shots.
