Canada's Mens National Soccer Team takes on the US on Thursday (today?) for Rio Olympic qualifying.

Canada's Men's Rugby lost a tight match against France today at the Rugby World Cup in England. They were within 9 points with about 15 minutes left to play and just seemed to fall apart. Pretty good effort and bodes well for what is essentially a consolation game against Romania on Tuesday.

3-1 loss. Not surprising, but we scored a goal again and on foreign soil to boot. Hoping we are competitive against Panama tomorrow.

I had hoped for a win or two in this tournament, but Canada is just outmatched it seems. I'd love to see Rugby become a bigger sport in this country, but it will always be overshadowed by Football.

Canada deserved it too. Definitely the better team. It looked like a great atmosphere too, a true home field advantage.

Ya let's hope it's not another 11 years before we host another match. The US team plays all over the country including artificial turf stadiums.

Promising start. If Canada can consistently beat the Honduras' and El Salvadors of CONCACAF they set themselves up well for qualification in future events.

Thank god for Junior Hoilett. The guy was incredible. By far Canada's best player. He's exactly what the team needs, a player with creativity.

There still is room for improvement but it's nice seeing Canada trending in the right direction.

A 0-0 draw with El Salvador. Not a good result at all because this means it will likely come down to the last game IN Honduras.
