That site is also the perfect spot for a mega-tall tower over 400 meters.
Well, the Feds do develop as well through Canada Lands Corp.

This site probably won't make it to Canada Lands though, it will be a quick 1-2 when they are ready to flip it.

Not how it works. Canada Lands is the real estate arm for the Feds. Tbey are present with every sale/development. This parking lot is owned by the Toronto Port Authority. They already partnered with Oxford to develop the site. Sorry, no 400 metre tower either lol.

30 Bay.

Well I got the building wrong, but my point was that all these "parking lots" Cal is referring to can't just be developed by anyone, into anything, because they are already spoken for by interested parties.

So far I'm not liking the white balcony glass against the grey spandrel.

The glass on Brookfield Place is getting better and better as more of it gets added. Really excited to see this in the skyline when it's done!

Brookfield Place is a big skyline changer. Looking forward to seeing it topped out. Not too often a new tallest is added to a skyline. Ironically both Alberta cities (Calgary and Edmonton) are building their new tallest right now.
