Can any of you guys post a diagram between the size difference of 1 wtc mast and the north tower antenna in terms of height and thickness?or which one is thicker.

The spire/antenna/mast atop 1 WTC makes it about 100 ft taller then the original North Tower with it's antenna. The the original antenna was 308 ft and the new spire/mast is 408 ft. The thickness was about the same on both, however, if the randome was installed on the new mast it would have been 23 feet thicker then the current antenna design and the original.

Im sure this has been answered before but are those huge rings around the spire/mast going to be removed after the spire/mast is completed or are they going to stay up there?

Each section of the spire has removable platforms that are needed by the construction workers to connect each section together.

Once the spire is complete, then those temporary platforms are removed.

Sigh... of course it would not have been made out of that material, but yes, the basic shape, with a spiral element beginning farther down would have been what it looked like. But yeah, I know the spire would not have been a bunch of repeating tips

Okay, because you did say that it was actually part of the old cladding, so I responded as such.

Tech Talk Guy,, I believe he's referring to window washing track and the other 2 rings to hold the micro dishes,, Those will be permanant. The "stairs and "doghouse" and cranes will be removed. Sorry 4 not dual quoting... Just don't seem to get that right most the time... And ChiBears when will we expect your next animated base update? Those ar actually damn cool, however the bottom of 1 side looks like nothing has started....

Is "Cleveland" a town in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut?
