Louisville is a very nice city. It has very pretty neighbourhoods with very nice row houses. Enjoyed this tour.

Thanks for sharing and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Nice pictures!

Louisville has some ugly skyscrapers. That pink postmodern building with the circular section sticking out is awful. And what's with the skyscraper with the lighthouse on top?

Nice thread! I've never been to Louisville but it looks like it has good fabric and a lot of character - more old river city than sunbelt modern.

Very, VERY underrated city. It's great to see it get some exposure on this forum. For whatever reason, because it's in Kentucky, I don't think people expect it to have the old bones like the other nearby industrial river cities like Cincinnati and St. Louis.

Great photos of one of my favorite cities in the United States. I lived in the Old Louisville neighborhood on South First Street in the 90s for a couple years and this brings back memories.

Where is that neighborhood with the large homes? I most definitely missed that neighborhood the last time I was driving around Louisville.

Excellent angles of the skyline. Thanks for sharing!!!

The neighborhood with all the Victorians is Old Louisville.

Shakman, you are back. Old school. Speaking of old school remember Afro Louisvillian that one Louisville homer from 12 years ago? That guy was classic. So whats going on in "The other Lou"? economy rolling ahead. Read some article about because it is the UPS hub a lot of companies want to locate there. Solid stuff in this thread, skyline looking a little tired though. Needs some fresh towers.

Yeah really great pics. Now that I have a family member living there I'll be getting to know the place much better. I was hoping she would buy a house in Old Louisville or the Highlands but she instead bought a house someplace off Brownsboro Rd.
