Smile

Amazing high quality photos! I like the sharpness, the colours and, of course, the urban landscape of Dubai.

Thanks for sharing and greeting from Madrid, Spain.

Wow, that marina really filled out. I'm liking the end product. It is hard to imagine that so much was been built in such little time.

Some more from Doha...

Some shots of the (old) Islamic Art Museum and of the new upcoming Islamic Museum under construction which when completed is to resemble the desert rose.

I totally agree with your sentiment. I love these highrises lighting at night, pretty spectacular!

Amazing what can be accomplished with slave labor in the 21st century. Were you in Doha to report on the migrant worker deaths?

Very solid pics though, high quality

I currently live in Doha, but as the city is still in its infancy, I'm trying to make my way next door to Dubai as often as I can for the impressive towers sprouting up all over the desert.
There is a very big problem with the workforce and conditions they are subjected to in Qatar.
Labor laws are under scrutiny and pressure is building because of the World Cup, but the immigrant work force is still suffering. Its difficult as I live in relative luxury while less than 1 km away is an immigrant camp with less than adequate mod cons.
