Tesla dealerships are hardly whats across the street at Carter.

I would call it retail, more than anything, comparable to an Apple store.

This is not bad news.

Smashed any rumor of grocery store at the Sears site. We are not insiders. We don't know what occurs at the planning/bargaining table.

I think talks of grocery stores were regarding the updated final site, with the grocer being on the southern end of the property fronting Lougheed as shown in floor plans

This doesn't sound like your regular run of the mill Tesla store to me...

Either way I think it's cool

Great news. Tesla is pushing things in the right direction (to itself), but we need competition to Tesla to drive prices down. $100K for a Tesla vehicle is not sustainable nor saving you money in terms of a fuel consumption of a $20,000 daily driver vehicle. What we know very well with technology is that it decreases overtime with technological efficiencies and competition. So far that hasn't happened with Tesla (mainly due to Elon Musk's ego and monopolistic enterprise). I think about 2030 is where the technology will be more marketable to the middle class.

Then go buy the $55K one instead, or wait a year and buy the $45K one.

They're still expensive because the batteries are expensive, but getting cheaper quickly. Volume production is what it takes to make batteries cheaper.

The lease plans show it as Phase 3.

Phase 2 would be the north end department store and towers along Willingdon.
