Really scary about the Guardrail though, glad no one was hurt :/

This tower will be (at best) the 4th tallest in midtown in about 5 years.

All of the people who think it's too tall should let that sink in.

Nordstrom
Steinway

what is the 3rd that would be taller? One Vanderbilt? is that going to be higher than 432?

EDIT: nevermind - looked it up.. had no idea the had bumped the height of One Vanderbilt to 1514ft!! is that true? that thing is going to look absolutely massive on the skyline!

One Vanderbilt will be 1414' roof/crown and 1514' spire. The Hudson spire site may potentially have something taller than 432. I'm sure others will pop up at some point too.

Didn't count the Freedom Tower because it's downtown. But the people complaining about the ultra-rich being the cause of these towers neglect the fact that office buildings such as One Vanderbilt and 30 Hudson (along with other massiver Hudson Yards towers) will also alter the skyline.

When these towers are all built, 432 Park will be a peak on a skyline of peaks.

The developer confirmed Steinway will be 1421 ft. per an article in either Curbed or The Real Deal from yesterday (1-15).

And I imagine something will be announced in Hudson Yards over the next few years that will be taller than 432 Park. But as of right now, 432 Park will be no better than 4th tallest in Midtown (behind Nordstrom, Vanderbilt and Steinway).

I didn't even notice. I was trying to take quick shots out the drivers side window as I was at the traffic light.
