On the Salesforce construction cam, it looks like they may have installed at least part of the steel for the bridge to the Transbay Center roof. Has anyone noticed that from the ground?

Thanks for the photos, timbad and fimiak. They're moving fast and it's already starting to look massive, yet the diagram fimiak posted shows there is a long way to go.

Because it's actually a six sided building. One of the most interesting being built in the US right now.
It appears to be 6 facets per side. Interesting indeed, remarkable design. I.M. Pei's landmark Bank of China tower in Hong Kong appears to be something of an inspiration but 181's multi-faceted facade distinguishes it.
I spent the afternoon walking all around down there today. If any of you haven't done this yet you MUST see this now. The amount of construction all happening in one part of the city at one time is unparalleled. It's truly amazing to see. And now Park Tower is starting too! Wow.
Sweet! They adjusted the Mission St. Transbay camera so this is squared up nicely. Great view of it now. The bad news is they have stalled on completing the current two floors. No additional steel in the past several days. I get so impatient.

It looks from the Mission Street time-lapse that some may have been delivered this morning.
I'm wondering when they'll raise the crane again. It's got to be getting close.
They finished installing a big net to stop rivets falling on the kiddies' heads at Town Hall...
The diagonal support beam is very interesting because it's made up of three separate beams which can pivot slightly due to the way they're connected to another beam. I presume to allow for some flexibility during earthquakes.
Work resumed yesterday after the holiday break with another two levels of core. By the end of the day, they had expanded east from the core (towards Town Hall), and today they are expanding north. They may finish two stories this week, which would be their fastest production to date. Looking forward to the crane jump that will likely be necessary once the current two floors are complete.
And looking at it today, they have installed all of the columns along the north side. So tomorrow they should get all the various beams in place on that side and perhaps the metal flooring (not sure the correct term for that).
