I think "Oh well" is going to be the key description of this high-rise.

Agreed. You can see from TallCoolOne's photo that this building will have zero impact on the skyline and will not fill in the gap between Commerce Square and IBX. Assuming the tower crane is the max height (which might be generous), it will have no impact.

Let's be honest here. Brandywine Realty Trust bought this property so another developer would not add additional office space to the office space market. We end up with a consolation prize of a building, done on the cheap, on a prime lot, in the middle of the central business district, with no sub levels and a massive above ground garage that takes up half of the property. How is that good?

And please do not tell me it is better than a "derelict lot". What are we in, North Philly? (sorry North Philly residents)

This project brings more dimension to the skyline. If every building was 500+, the skyline would look boring. Driving on 76 coming from the zoo, it was easy to pick it out, with 5 more floors, it will make a slight impact.

It adds just enough. Yes it would of been a good area for a trophy tower tho.

I like it. The glass is cool. Wouldnt a tower at 1911 Walnut actually "fill in" that gap in the skyline that others have mentioned? I am much more concerned about a quality tower there. To the guy above saying "what is this north Philly?" Well no it's not, it's market street and there was a big grass lot there before. Now there is a building where people will be walking in and out, adding nighttime activity to an otherwise somewhat dull stretch.

Up to 25th floor as of yesterday - front of building has floor #'s marked going up the building. So about 4 more levels to go.
