My Dad loved it there. I enjoyed visiting him there. Many fond memories. My stepmom still lives there.

I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to Texas. There is so much to see in the state. The building in Galveston designed by Elijah E. Myers is the Hutchings and Sealey Building. You can see the similarities between that commercial building and the three State Capitol Buildings he designed: Texas, Michigan, and Colorado.

The pics that I posted at the first page you mean? Yeah, it's probably my camera setting when I took the pictures that was not set to make large pictures. My mistake.

A very interesting state for sure! My point of view about that state changed after I visited, I can tell you that. I have been able to visit pretty much everything I wanted except Galveston and El Paso, due to a lack of time.

Has anyone been to the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi? I hear it is nice, not sure if it is worth a special trip to this city though.
