On the Sunday I went, there was a young lady in the lobby that let you through the security door and she tells you to take the elevator to the 2nd floor. If a door is closed on the 2nd floor that denotes a 'sold' suite. But if the door is open you can wander in and have a look around. There is a real estate agent in the show suite, which is furnished.
I would like to hear from others who have had a look. I think they are overpriced, but hey, that's because our land and construction costs are so high. The suites at The Gardens on Rose are equally pricey (I have yet to see their show suite). Both of these buildings have several unsold units, which may be one of the reasons why Capital Pointe hasn't gone ahead
yet. Is there really a market in Regina for this many luxe condos?
Here's something to ponder: there's a 2 bedroom condo for sale at Roberts Plaza on the 15th floor that's going for $299,000. Sure, the building is 40 years old but it is a sample of better value for the money.
I am not in the market, but which would you rather purchase? A brand-new 1400 sq ft condo for $535,000 or a 40 year old condo of equal size, on a higher floor for $235,000 less?
