I'm so tired of waiting for San Antonio to do something grand. I swear to God I hope this thing isn't built if it's under 500 feet. That would be a true waste and a catalyst to nothing.

Monday blues????

Hope your day gets better.

It will be grand no matter what height.

I have to admit some disappointment in the CPS decision, but this is some much needed salve.

Quick update: It will be front page of the Express-News. The paper is under an embargo to not release it until this Sunday. Chose Sunday for its high readership.

Insider told me that when the renderings were shown to Frost board, first comment was "this will be one of the most recognizable towers in Texas."

I have not seen it, but I am surrounded by people either working on the project or with access to it. And these people are singing its praises.

I look forward to seeing it for the first time with you!

....so you're telling me that it won't be a short, stubby, robot-esque building after all? This pleases me.

I think this is one the few times I'd rather it be Sunday than Friday. Can I just go into a 48 hour coma and wake up Sunday morning?

We've collectively decided it's not about size. Fair......

But in anticipation can we PLEASE try to guess how tall it is?!?!

Price is Right rules, of course.

Rolling with 480'

My gut tells me it won't be much taller than Weston Centre, and will rely on design rather than height as its calling card.
