Mostly cloudy with scattered showers, and a bit blustery at times.
The sun came out for a little bit in the late afternoon.

Thursday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 10 C, the low was 7 C.

Some mist starting. We have a rainfall warning so hopefully most of the remaining snow will be gone shortly.

EDIT: MELT, BABY, MELT!

Forgot the groceries are closed today. I never have enough food in my house I go every day.

Had to go to Tim's like one of ye haha kidding.

Despite those two bundled up, I was in a light sweater with rolled up sleeves and it was lovely. AND I have the upstairs windows open to change the air in the house. Feels sssooo spring, but there is more snow yet to come, I'm sure.

EDIT: It's up to 16 at my place.

Rinse, repeat, the only difference is that the temperature has fallen to only +2C

Rain all day and all night, changing to rain mixed with snow tomorrow. Southern NB is stuck in an atmospheric river coming up the east coast.

There is quite a bit of water ponding in the back yard.

Cloudy, some sunny breaks, and 15 at just before 11:30am. Rain will come in later today, about 20-30 mm expected.

Snow is rapidly melting, especially considering temperatures only briefly dropped below double digits overnight.

I haven't checked Sobeys (not sure how, do individual provinces/stores list their actual hours? Mine opens at 7 a.m. but no idea when it closes) but LOTS of things around me opened at noon. So they might've opened also.

I'll find out Sunday on my grocery run if they're also closed then lol

Holy fuck that's a big snow drift.

Nice springish day here. Mix of sun and clouds. Breezy by the lake.

It went from grey to blue today. High of 12c.

Sorry for a larger-than-normal photo dump. I've been sick with the flu the past week, so I haven't been out walking around. Got a little trigger happy today.

Gorgeous pics, giallo.

Superettes are still closed for Good Friday. Had to walk all the way to a gas station lol

9C and sunny. A bit breezy so not quite as pleasant as you would expect but for late Match absolutely no complaints.

Low of -1C (wind chill of -4) this morning.

The warmspot was Cheticamp, NS at 19.5C.

Warmest low was Cheticamp, NS at 13.2C. Would be the warmest low this year if the temperature holds but I doubt it will since that is the temp right now and it keeps falling.

Yes, spring is rapidly accelerating now. I think we're getting past peak blossom and bloom time and getting into leafing out. At least on the downtown Vancouver peninsula.

12 days difference in the photos below, from blossoms to leaves...

Cloudy and 9 at 11am. High near 13 expected today.

We are still under a rainfall warning, but it looks like we've received very little rain. My weather station registered just 3 mm of rain overnight.

Yesterday, I found myself wandering around downtown Trenton and realized the Americans could take this base in minutes, not days. What a dump.

Walked a couple of trails today. On one I found a slice of tree that I decided to keep. Daughter turned it into a pizza. On the other I noticed a car at the bottom of the valley, just like a couple of months ago. Next time when it's just me I'll go down there and check it out. See if I can get it running again.

Also, ducks were going yard to yard in the morning. Last time I saw this was four years ago when a female duck was being voluntarily raped as part of a mating ritual. Odd that they chose a front yard to do it though.
