Thumbs up MEGA Buffalo Thread! A bunch of pictures from around the city

University Heights

H.H. Richardson Complex AKA: State Insane Asylum, State Lunatic Asylum, Buffalo State Hospital, Buffalo Psychiatric Center
Built 1872 now abandoned. One of the most magnificent building I have ever seen, luckily efforts to restore it have been topics of conversation.

Grit

Around Elmwood Ave.

Dunn Tire Park: Home of the Buffalo Bisons

Downtown!

Finally, the October storm, this was my neighborhood on 10/13/06

Hope you enjoyed!

Great selection of pix there, although you posted this in the wrong section since you took these pix. So I moved it here.

Thats the first time I've seen the Bisons' stadium. I knew the designer.
That was before HOK really exploded.

Heckofa tour Sam. Yeah there's some grit in Buff, but there's a bunch of decent houses too, and for an affordable price. At least there use to be. I was with you up until the snow, then I got the shakes (shivers). Thanks for the pics.

Thanks for sharing the excellent pics!

Question: Where is the Anchor Bar relative to any one of these pics?
I've never been to Buffalo, but definitely want to hit the birthplace of my favorite bar munchie sometime!

Its not really located close to any of the pictures unfortunately. Its located on Main Street about 6 or 7 blocks north of downtown, it’s in somewhat of a shady neighborhood, but don’t let that scare you away! Its still a great place to visit! One of my favorite places to eat in Buffalo.
