How to create flip animation with photos?

Hi folks,

let's say you have 8 to 10 shots of the same scene and you want to create a flip animation type image that shows movement. How do you do that? I have Paintshop Pro, but I'm not sure what function to use. And what file type do I save it as?

Are you looking to make an animated gif out of this?
Are you looking to print this out?

If you want to make a gif then there are a few free programs that can make animated gifs. You should be able to find one at www.download.com or another similar site.

I would use flash to make it, just because I like making stuff in flash, but that is an expensive toy (for those not at a university).

I have never used Paintshop Pro, so I can't help you much there, sorry.

I use ImageReady that comes with Photoshop CS.

Paintshop Pro has Animation Shop built into it. Take an animated .gif, save it to your desktop, and double click on it. The animation shop should open automatically...it was actually pretty easy to learn how to use it...

wish I would have had a tripod to do this!

^ I want to do something like that. I have several shots of a building under construction at night with the crane moving around. The lighting of the construction site was wicked. I thought it would make a nice animated image.

No, I don't want to print it. I just want to take about 8 to 10 images and have them be in a loop so the scene seems to move.
