The first row of tendon tie backs are already going in. The dig is progressing fast.

I have a question for the experts here on SSP. Are those machines pile drivers or caisson drillers?

Caisson drills. They have an auger type bit on them.

Those could either be caisson drills or shoring drills for support of excavation. If one refers to post #126, one can see the soldier piles beams into the ground which were drilled for and then placed into the hole.

I don't see any caissons.
My mistake. I thought those round tubes were caissons.
