I love what you said about Beltzhoover! Detroit, pretty much. Yeah, it's been that way for decades!

Is that one section seriously labeled as "Beechville?" Yeah, it's definitely BEECHVIEW! Good catch on that one.

Heeheeeheee,

after 10023 tried to tell me tiny Logan Square is superior to the entire borough of Queens, the Chicago map says "Chicago's Queens" and "Unfounded Pride" immediately next to Logan Square. That is pretty wonderful,

^ ugh.

I said it had more buzz than any neighborhood in Queens, not that it was "superior" to the entire borough. I still maintain that Logan Square has a higher profile in Chicago than any neighborhood in Queens does in NYC, and it will probably stay that was as long as Brooklyn is getting most of the attention.

Also you need to be more judgemental. Not sure which area has the most separatists (maybe make an arrow pointing towards QC) but you can label that Canada haters. Also need to label biker and mafia mobster areas, crumbling highways/bridges.

Parking lot reference for the highways is true. Everybody I meet from L.A. saids the worst part is the traffic. 24/7

BTW, I like the American History X reference.

I live in the Allandale area of Austin. Whoever did the Austin map pegged the Allandale area perfectly ("overly practical gays").

I live in the area between comfy fatties and poverty. I'm not sure those two are totally accurate for my area. The only comfy fatties I know of are probably not the ones they're talking about.

By the way, there are some real hippies in that area where it lists fake ones. You haven't lived until you've partied with some real old hippies sitting out back around their bonfire, barefoot, smoking pot and singing folk songs all night. Being hugged by a stoned, drunk hippie woman is a bit like a full body grope. You gotta love friendly hippie women. They like to hug.
