The process between announcement and ground breaking is not always a quick flip-of-the-switch.

I will be more than glad to wake the both of you when this starts.

Wasn't able to make much of that site, but it looks like they're exaggerating height a little bit.

This is a website to acquire EB-5 funding from China. Looks like the project still needs 17% of funding which they are looking for through the EB-5.

And that image of the red massing was created by someone on this forum, showing what the height could be at 58 floors and 650+ feet.

We'll assume it is still 50 floors and 582 feet for now.

A recent publication said 58 floors, which could bump the height up to 650 feet or over, but I'm still inclined to believe the height is the same.

Hmmmm. From the horse's mouth last December.

No mention of the immigrant investor piece of the capital stack back then.

This is a hairy project for sure.

That's awfully fishy.

Summers, any idea what happened to those three weeks of posts?

They were there last night.

Seems like someone wants create a little revisionist history. Did Josef Stalin take over this thread?
Wasn't that actually from an October 8, 2013 post that's still there?
