Idaho Governor's Mansion; What's wrong with this pic?

Google maps street view has most of Boise. Is that a good thing?

Is that pic taken right in the middle of Boise?, because looking at it it looks like the middle of nowhere.

The State should buy a nice Bungalow in the Northend for the gov's mansion.
There was once one near Elm Grove Park or that area anyways.
Maybe that phallis is supposed to sybmolize something? After all Gov. Otter was in a tight jeans contest in the past!

Was just curious, why did they put the Govenor's mansion in what looks to be the suburbs? Was the land donated to the state by Simplot?

The house was donated, but I think it just sits vacant because the gov has his own home just West of Boise.
It is located in the foothills in a densly populated area near downtown.
The picture is kind of misleading.

How appropriate! I don't understand how that man, who is obviously a conflicted follower of the crowd, can be a leader, let alone a state governor.
Grow a pair, and "come out."
