^ me too!

The cats are back on Bowen Island for the first time since the summer of 2011. I wasn't sure what kind of recognition there would be but it is clear that they do remember being here before. However Felix had his former humans over for lunch the other day and there didn't seem to be any memory of them. He ran away from home 3 years before he started home invading my place in 2010.
A former neighbour came over for beers one day and he stopped to chat with some neighbours on the way over and he said two of them mentioned to him that Felix was back!
Poor Felix has had a head wound which I suspect came from the claws of Taz. Felix also caught a bird but "luckily" for the bird, Felix practices catch and release.
He also wanted to pounce on a garter snake but I held him back.

well, at least you had leather seats for easier clean-up.

My little Dusty general tries to hide the whole car ride. Garfield tries to find a safe lap. Both cry continuously!

Here's a pic of my Aunt's cat. Everyone was trying to pet it at our family reunion last december but it wouldn't have it.

^ great cat pics!

I just happened to wake up and open my eyes about 4 am on Saturday and I saw FeLiX running by on the balcony railing outside. He was returning home from visiting next door. So I texted my neighbour and said I hoped FeLiX had left her cat alone. She said her son was furious because he had caught FeLiX on the kitchen counter eating his leftover pizza! So now she wants a barricade put up to stop him from climbing over to her balcony, although her cat PiP loves FeLiX! He is in lockdown inside at night now.

At the other end of the balcony is my barricade to keep FeLiX from visiting highly allergic next door neighbour.

My wife and I don't have cats (we have chinchillas), but we have a couple of neighborhood cats that visit us frequently. We welcome them since they are both friendly, and both seem to be decent mousers. The tradeoff is finding an occasional surprise in the flowerbeds.

And this extra furry polydactyl walking allergen is my in-laws' cat, Bailey, looking unhappy at her Christmas jacket:

Seriously, most cats don't bother me, but I can't spend more than a few minutes with her before I get the full on runny nose, sneezing, swollen eyes treatment. Which is a shame because she is very cute and does have really nice fur.
