Last spring they had a pop-up restaurant for a couple of weeks downtown on St-George. They didn't advertise much, just word of mouth. I found it was a bit underwhelming unfortunately. Their Dieppe pop-up last winter did better. However, they've really upped their game with Black Rabbit Shediac. I'd easily put it in the top 3 or 4 restaurants in Southeast NB. They had a surprisingly inventive dish selection, although they change their menu weekly. Service was pretty good and the setting is nice in the historic house. Overall a great experience. They're only open until October so check it out while you can.

The new ramps off and on to highway 15 West bound are almost complete, all the construction equipment has been removed. All that remains is the paining of the lines, signage and lighting and it should be open soon. I'm looking forward to this as it will cut my commute by more than 10 minutes in the summer getting from Shediac to Moncton.

Do you know when they plan on building the ramps on the other side?

It is indeed open and such a time saver for residents going to Moncton. No word on when the ramps on the other side will be built, those are a larger project as they have to loop around and connect to Riverside at a yet to be built intersection behind some of the houses on that side of the highway.

I think they are starting to prepare the ground for the new Kent on Ohio Rd. there's a lot of machinery right beside the ambulance depot.

There's been a sign on the Ohio Road announcing the new Kent store for some time.

So is Irving going to hold onto there land by the Seaside Chevrolet,or are they planning to sell. It's strange that they would have purchased land up that way without any reason.

The land next to seaside has been for sale for years. And honestly Irving just buys land for shits & giggles so are you really surprised they are just going to sit on it. Heck, they are actually the 6th largest landowner in all of the USA so I don’t think it would be a problem to have a couple more acres in Shediac.

I see on Facebook that the Shediac Centre for Speed will have a new race promoter in 2019.

The Esso gas station, car wash and bottle depot on Main St. across from the Bayou is closing on ThursD]ay. I didn't pay much attention as there are a ton of gas stations in Shediac. But when I stopped for a beer and some smelts at the Bayou the locals were telling me it will be replaced by the main entrance to the mega campground Victor and Mike Boudreau initiated. I find that hard to believe. That must be a million dollar business, sold to make an entrance to a campground?

I wonder why the sudden change. It seems the plans where previously to have the entrance on Pointe Du Chêne Rd. As they could not purchase the land where goji's Neighbourhood Treatery is curently.

I will say as far as Gas Stations there is both Irving, and Ultramar withing less then 5 minutes.

this was a good spot for atv's to go fuel. the trail comes out right behind the bayou. now they'll have to go on the side of the road to the nearest gas station and take a chance to get stopped and fined by the rcmp as you're not allowed to ride of the side of streets.
