DENVER l Deep Breaths

Denver, Colorado: the Mile High City, the Metroplex of the Mountain West, perhaps the farthest east Western city in America. Home to championship sports teams, the state capitol, one of the largest (and craziest) airports in the world, and that world famous altitude. Said altitude knocked this already out of shape and sick sea level Californian photographer firmly on his ass after only a few hours. My advice for visiting Denver? Be in shape, stay hydrated, and of course . . . deep breaths.

Until next time, Denver.

Very nice and interesting tour. Thanks for sharing.

I would like to visit Denver and the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

Denver looks comfortable and nice. I like it.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

I don't know, some street scene photos feel like Russia, especially that cellphone guy walking acorss street with Acura, Land Rover and Audi as backdrop and the train station and the cloudy day, if people say that's rich and modern Moscow I might applaud.

What fun in downtown Denver to explore?

Nice pics. I love the juxtaposition between that old house and the parking garage. I didn't have too much trouble with the altitude in Denver but I remember the dehydration. Whenever I get back of the throat burning thirst it always makes me think of Colorado!

It reminds me of Edmonton and Calgary combined.

I love this time of year in Denver. Well, I've only been there once in June, but I recall thunderstorms nearly everyday. I loved it! Denver is a really nice city all around.

Well that's new, how's it working?

Skyline-wise, let see Edmonton is bit of conventional and conservative, while Calgary is a little modern and fashionable.

So Denver is bit of conventional but modern and fashionable, and it makes sense.

My first impression is combination of Boston and Houston.

Denver looks great. One of the few big cities in North America that I haven't been to.

Ahh great photos of my old home metro where I lived over 50 yrs till I moved to Sacramento courtesy of a job transfer..

As for the summer thunderstorms-there great natural entertainment and I did chase a few Colorado tornadoes out near that huge and crazy airport and ruined a nice pickup from hen egg sized hail!!
