It's bascially a scam where young Chinese couples pretend to be English speaking tourists and starts talking to you and asking you to take their picture - they act really friendly with the goal of luring you into a tea house where the bill of what they recommend will be very high ( typically >$100 ) and there are also reported cases of theft and extortion upon entering the tea house.

We had read the warnings in advance, so we didn't fell for any of the scams, but they are good, at multiple times "alarm bell" didn't ring for me until into a convesation or taking their picture for them..

Yea that almost like in South or East Europe when hot woman approaching you with nice talks and flirts and hahahah SCAMS.

Never have I seen Chinese air so clear in photos.

The tea house scam is actually quite wellknown now actaully.
You must have been extemely lucky to get to Shanghai when the sky was so clear!
