After Mirabel Airport, the Big Owe is biggest development-related mistake in the history of Quebec.

This stadium reminds me of an old Nissan (Japanese quality my ass) junker I used to have,I brought it to garage to be repaired (as usual) and as a joke I asked the mechanic how long this POS would last, his response was " it depends, how long to you want to keep throwing money at it?"

I knew this thread would turn into a hate fest. It didn't take long.

^at least people use the Decarie and Metropolitan.

The Big Owe, I admit, is very useful for those Monster Truck Shows. And Mirabel....why they filmed parts of a Catherine Zeta Jones movie there! (The Terminal).

Quote:
Most exterior shots and those featuring actual aircraft were shot at Montréal–Mirabel International Airport: additional interior shots were also done there including the mezzanine overlooking the immigration desks and the baggage carousels directly behind them, the jetways showing Aéroports de Montréal signs, and many Air Transat planes in the background: New York is not one of their regular destinations. A mistake? You actually think Montreal would be a better place without these two autoroutes??

Definitely Decarie is unfortunate but it is a very well used piece of infrastructure, I don't think Montréal could survive with out the 40.

The Biodome, It's interior will be renovated, new public spaces, boutiques, food court etc.
Not sure anything is being done in the 4 different climatic environments.

le terminal était une erreur, mais la piste d'atterrissage et le complexe sont utilisés pour...

The predominant role of the airport is cargo flights but it is also home to MEDEVAC and general aviation flights as well as being a manufacturing base for Bombardier Aerospace, where final assembly of regional jet (CRJ700, CRJ900 and CRJ1000) aircraft and the Bombardier CSeries is conducted. The former passenger terminal apron is now a racing course.

Donc de dire que tout est à jeter, c'est complètement faux.
