Immigrants like to stick together.

There aren't enough immigrants here to make a "_____ Town". It's mostly immigrants from Mexico here.

With all that said, it’s sad to see everything close in the Chinese Cultural Center. With all the developement around there, hotels right across the street, that would have been a great opportunity for a China Town. Does anyone know what they are doing with that complex?

Wow, just did some research on it, I haven’t been there in a while, True North bought the Chinese Cultural Center in 2017 and started destroying all the architecture and is renovating it and changing it to offices. This is real sad, dang. Check out Phoenixchineseculturalcenter.com

The 'PC' term is 'ethnic enclaves'.

Phoenix won't ever have an ethnic enclave.

Have you been to Maryvale? South Phoenix? Or the Asian corridor along Dobson Rd in Mesa? Guadalupe? How about the Square in north PHX?

We have these areas - but unfortunately, they aren’t very ‘nice’ or marketed as a ‘____ town’. They do exist though - and have for a long time.

Yeah I just drove past here the other day and always thought this stretch of McDowell would be great with some gentrification.

Glad to see it.

Yes, all three are under construction. Seems like at the dormitory site they are building a tower crane base.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

At what point in time has downtown ever had this many up at once?!

Does anyone realize there is a second phase planned of the Lincoln Union for the Warehouse District? It's to include another 100k sqft of office space, a parking garage and a 6 story apartment building as well as retail?

Had no idea there would a phase 2 to the Lincoln Union. Did a quick search and found this site with some renderings of what you mentioned. The apartments aren’t 6-stories though.
