PROJECT DESCRIPTION:New multi-family high rise-342 dwelling units
Tower 3? Unless they are counting the Garage as a tower how is there a tower 3?

The Tower on Osborn and Central is 3300 the brown one about a block south is 3200.

Id have to guess this is a new apartment complex on the 3200 property

The lot has the same address as the 3200 tower which is why it's listed that way on the permit, although they frequently get the addresses wrong.

I'm assuming that's going to be 3250 once they get the ADDR permit and plat done.

Hey Obadno! You were right about Kenect! They've raised it by 2 sections! I missed it because I didn't see them tearing the crane down this weekend. They actually used a jumper this time. This begs the question...why on Earth didn't they use a jumper when they raised it last time??

Construction fence is up at the upcoming ASU residential tower and the adjacent parking lot is closed off. That was fast. Maybe another crane by the end of the year?

Edit: And another update. All the vegetation around the O'Neil printing building has been roped off and a demo notice on the fence. Plant salvage and demo soon.

All of downtown is under construction!

And we stilll have more in the pipe! Central Station, Palmcroft, Barrister (maybe), Berger Hotel, Hilton Garage, and the Redevelopment of Convention Center south.

Oh… The Hyatt garage. Did they ever finish the RFP for that or get any submissions? I didn’t see land values downtown at being high enough to warrant demolition of that damn thing with replacement parking.

There’s also the deck park vista RFP. Not sure whatever happened with that either.

No kidding! Downtown is exploding! I've came up with the estimate that we should have no less than 13 cranes in the skyline come end of January if everything holds up to the current construction schedule.

Currently at 6 cranes

Upcoming 7 or 8 additional cranes:
Aspire
ASU Residential
Broadstone
Battery
Filmore (most likely 2 cranes)
O'Neil
Eco

Potential upcoming cranes:
Link 2
Palm Court

Also took a photo last night of the skyline. Looking good with all those cranes. Too bad I can only get half of them in the pic

Awesome pic! Thanks for sharing. Couple of towers completely hidden from that perspective (BofA, CityScape, Renaissance for most part) and still looks fairly impressive.

Who owns the lot to the south of The Stewart? I would love to see a tower there. I assume it's the city as that track was built into it for the turn around.... Would love to see an RFP for that lot.

1) Anyone know the occupancy rate of the Link & Stewart right now?

44 Monroe and Cityscape had waiting lists on certain floor plans for years.. wondering how all this new inventory is shaking things up.

2) The Penthouse at The Link is asking $6,400, and it's only a 2-br, 1,266 sqft?

Looks like they currently have 79 units available out of 312. So roughly 74% occupancy right now.

I hax0red the Link's website and my 1337 computer systems counted 155 available Link units of 330, under 47% availability.

47% is pretty good for just opening a couple weeks ago.

Filling up quick compared to the Stewart. Granted the Stewart opened beginning of summer, can’t help but wonder how many occupants in the Link are students?

I wonder if some of those remainder units in the Link just haven't been improved upon and accordingly aren't listed as available.

In other words, the number of units available doesn't actually indicate occupancy. Anyone been down there during the day and seen workers or things like appliances being moved in?

Last time I was down there ( a couple weeks ago ) it seemed like there were definitely people in the Link - stuff was at least on a few balconies like you'd expect if they were occupied. Of course doesn't mean that these aren't demo units or something.
