Schweinfurt, Germany

Located between Wurzburg and Bamberg, Schweinfurt is usually overlooked. bombed heavily in WWII and followed mixed reconstruction, Schweinfurt still has a nice charm all its own mixing industry and gothic architecture, and feels larger than its population of 55,000.

Looks like after WWII they put a good bit of energy into rebuilding as opposed to replacing.

Germany's great as always.

A friend of mine who lives there, tells me, "In Germany, you never know when you're going to come across the next gem. Every little town is filled with history and culture -- and you're never far away from delightful surprises."

Thanks. Beautiful. Very cool looking town.

I must go to Germany. I want to walk all around for many km's, and drink German Hefe's, pilsners, and schwarzbiers all day long - sounds like heaven to me.
