Exactly, though I have had it with the homogeneous, banal blue-glass and green-glass buildings. Everything is done on-the-cheap.

1 Yorkville looks nothing like any other project. 460 Yonge (Y&C) looks nothing like any other project. 1 Bloor looks nothing like any other project. The list goes on. What are you trying to get at?

yes sir that's what I mean and not all boxes are the same TD, commerce court, Bay Adelaide etc. are really good. second thing that around 70% of skyscrapers in Toronto are boxes, Toronto need some variety.

Cityplace's architecture from block to block is different which reflects the various firms involved. Quality in materials is suspect though.

There's more to it than a silhouette and colour.

I believe one of the DRP's recommendations was to make the floorplate smaller in exchange for a height increase. I would suspect Bazis took this into consideration. We should see this one over 60 stories eventually.

What I find pretty interesting about the project is the lounge/pool/spa area on top of the heritage buildings.
