Very interesting and eerie. Thanks for posting these, peacefu.

Speaking of Kim Jong Il - if you haven't seen it, go see Team America - World Police. It's hilarious.

What does conservatism have to do with these wackos in North Korea?
Are you letting the cat out of the bag and admitting Liberals are secret communists?
or are you just paranoid?

just curious?

I'm conflicted between making some snide comment to point out how absurd that statement is or just feeling sorry for you. I guess I'll go with the latter.

Try visiting Cuba.

wow - very interesting glimpse into a very closed and mysterious country

I too was just on the doorstep (in the DMZ) about 6 yrs ago. but from there I saw only military installations and no sign of civilan life within NK - these pics give us a bit of an idea of what is inside there... cool

i'm always afraid that should the US invade north korea, or their government collapses, and UN troops ahve to come in, i'm afraid that we'll discover some major gruesome holocaust or genocide larger than the scale the world knew of there, as Russian and US troops had to discover after taking Germany at the end of WW2, seeing the concentration camps for the first time.
