In these elevations they look like they might be spiral staircases possibly connecting to the open (amenity?) level shown in the renderings a few posts back.

I don't think you should have brought race into the issue because the anti-gentrification crowd is also against density.

A lot of minorities, though, pretty much assume that gentrification is some kind of attack on them. I don't think it is, of course, but minorities do tend to get the short end of the stick when gentrification happens, but that's more of an economic problem than a racial one since it can happen to anyone. It's not like white people are allowed to stay even if they can't make rent.

This one apparently had another name change. The last one was 19 Block, and it's apparently "2020" now.

Those spiral staircases are for 2 level student apartments
They will also have 2 level ‘townhomes’ that you can access from street level

At what point does West Campus have more apartments than UT has students? Are we still far away from that? I suppose the west campus population is like 30k at this point?

How much on-site parking will this have? Will it all be underground?

Edit: Not sure about the exact number of parking spaces.

Two levels of above ground parking.

Too bad this was built prior to the City updating UNO. Now this could have hit 300', would not have to have that useless setback along its northern face and would not have required so much wasteful machine space. Too bad it took Austin till 2020 to allow for better building types here but UNO is worlds better than what the rest of the city lives under--our 1984 land development code... NIMBYs.
