Midtown Union will do a nice job of filling in the gap.

Let's hope we hear more soon about the Arts Center TOD development. I know 3 years ago, they were talking about being 5 years away from anything concrete.

Long-sigh. With all the Midtown development going all the way up to 17th street now. Think how amazing it would have been to have had that Calatrava Bridge there..

I've read the articles on the Invesco announcement but there is no mention of the residential tower. I hope it's still on in phase 1. MetLife has a partner for the office tower and I would imagine they would do the same for the other components. And that may be another element of complexity adding to the perceived delay.

The loopnet listing has some good renderings that I haven't seen posted on here yet, including the residential tower. Looks really nice! See:

I didn't really see much thats new. They discuss their decision to choose Midtown Union over Atlantic yards, 1105 West Peachtree, and 901 West Peachtree. They like the location, obviously, and the fact that it will have a hotel for their clients.

Invesco will occupy the top 10 floors of the tower from 17 to 26. They will add 350 employees over the next 18 months

I pass this lot most every day. Generally, not many cars parked there. But the last few days, I've seen ZERO parked there. So, could be a sign something is forthcoming.

Good point. There has been no mention of the residential tower in any of the recent news about the project.

Yes the entire super block is fenced with 2 vehicle entry points on Spring st. 16th is fenced to the property line at the Artmore hotel.

Demolition of the 4/5 story white building is surely imminent. We hope...
