Probably just a social media person not knowing the exact details of the project. Would not make sense to have 2 entrances and 1 exit.

That was always an exit with the entrance and another exit on Fort. Can't see how this could ever be an entrance. But maybe there's more changes coming that would accommodate that.

It's been used as an exit so that people can head south on Main during afternoon rush hour, since turning right off Fort to Portage is illegal at that time. A little sketchy since they are turning into a bus lane, with their view of traffic blocked by buses and normally a mandatory right turn on to Graham coming up almost immediately.

^^^And currently only buses and cyclists can turn right at that intersection. So yeah, pretty sketchy for sure.

I do have to say though, the big windows on Fort certainly make this feel less bleak an ominous on Fort than I thought it would. They did a good job considering the building constraints. The new corner at Graham should help too.

Yeah, 330 is nowhere near as good as it was originally envisioned (the atrium hotel thingy), but I guess after almost 40 years of nothing on the foundation I'm grateful to at least have something there now. The Fort Street side is OK.

Yeah overall I really have no complaints. They did a good job here.

My only complaint in the end will likely be that the city didn't work with them to remove all the planters on Main so we'll still be stuck with a tiny bus shelter and a sidewalk way too narrow for the amount of people that congregate there – and now there will be a new residential tower added.

Yeah, looking at the pics for 330, I'm not even mad nor disappointed of any "shortcomings" on that part at all.

If anything, having something on that pad is a million times better than having nothing on there for 40 years.

I can't wait for it to open once it's complete.

Driving by on main over the weekend in the evening, the lights really brighten the street up. I can only imagine it will look even better once 300 is complete.

Steel frame installation for the floors have resumed today. It's been awhile since new steel has come on site.

In very sad news, Marwest tweeted that one of the victims of the PS752 disaster in Iran was Bahareh Hajesfandiari, an engineer who was part of the 300 Main project team.

We've lost a lot of talented individuals in that disaster. Tragic.

I really hate to ask this, but any word on the crane being lifted? I know this has been asked numerous times, but it's already the middle of January.

Although if workers are taking a vacation, I don't blame them either.

Also, will the camera looking west on the project ever be back online?

Bribe one of the officeworkers in the towers nearby - or maybe Richardson? MTS tower, maybe? Where was the last camera?

The crane can't be raised until the next 3 floors are complete. They are currently installing hollow core on 9, so two more to go. Then the crane can be tethered to the 12th floor and raised.
