It is part of the Edmonton vernacular.

Hats are seen around town and it is well recognized by many, even us older folk.

At least you're back in Kelowna, one of Canada's best mid-size cities imo (i.e. climate, geography, active transportation, etc.).

Oh I love Kelowna don't get me wrong, it just feels like I'm starting over again financially. Although I had huge doubts things would look up for us in that regard had we stayed there a few more years.
