You won't be disappointed. It puts everything going on now into perspective. I like books in general, and I love skyscraper books, and no other city has the history with skyscrapers that New York does. There was a time where at one point the bulk of the tallest buildings in the world was in New York.

Today's world is so different, with the tallest buildings now being built in multiple places around the world. It's unlikely any one city will ever dominate like that again. But in New York, the next few years will see a jump in the number of supertalls, raising the profile of the skyline once again.
