Really liking the facade materials on this one. And on an unrelated note, the parking lot next to the Spaghetti Warehouse bordering the waterway is just screaming for a really nicely designed residential/hotel high rise.

The architect's website has this one as 41-stories. That means the project would be the tallest residential building in Houston and pushes it above 500' feet.

It does appear appear that way in the shot. However, the foot print is normal for the height of this tower. From the spot where this pic was taken, the tower is approximately 0.5 of a mile away, while the skyline is about 3 to 4 miles away.

Sneak peek: Luxe apartment tower with glass-bottom sky pool in downtown Houston

Woodbranch Investments Corp. has begun preleasing units inside Market Square Tower, the tallest luxury apartment project in downtown Houston.

Market Square Tower’s 463 units will range in size from a 564-square-foot efficiency to a three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit spanning 1,950 square feet with an oversized balcony. There will be several penthouse units, starting at 2,933 square feet. Rents have not been disclosed.

Market Square Tower, which broke ground in 2014, is slated to open in October 2016, ahead of its originally planned 2017 opening.
