It shouldn't be long now - the steel is up to the 31 storey mark now - the core is quite a bit further up. The cranes are visible from pretty much every where in the city.
Mind you - that's as of about 10 days ago, I think.

I noticed in this pic that there's no 13th floor...

Nice huge project for Calgary btw, too bad my old home city of Denver isn't getting a project similar to this.

What is the purpose of not having a 13th floor? It kind of still has one too, its just not numbered. Are 13th floors like unsafe or something?

The number 13 is considered unlucky in western culture. It's a superstitious thing.

As a rule of thumb - they don't like to mark the 13th floor as such - but when you physically count the floors - you still include a 13th floor while counting your way up. At least - that's the way I do it when counting floors.
