Love the pics ToysNoiz. I had no idea you had created this thread over here. I'll be checking in often now. I'm anxious now to see a Spring update, with all of the color.

Awesome! Salt Lake is beautiful! The homes in the foreground of the last photo posted are very interesting! It'd be cool to see some of the residential architecture of the city, something I've never seen!

I've never been but I'm fascinated by Salt Lake City. For a small city it seems so progressive, with a bustling downtown and great transit. I guess the Mormons really know how to get stuff done. How much of SLC's growth has to do with the culture of the Church?

It's more church business than culture. The Church headed the redevelopment of our downtown malls to form City Creek Center , a mix use project with a mall and high-rise condos.

While SLC is a truly great place, with a metro population of over 2 million (Basically the largest midsized city in the US), downtown should have a bit more. Right now, projects like the Convention Hotel and a Broadway style Preforming Arts Center are in development that will drastically improve the downtown core. Visit sometime, you'll enjoy yourself.
