What's that building in front of Trump? I've never seen an old-school building like that with a sky bridge.

Trump influence towers over River North
By Steven Dahlman 1-Jul-11

48-year-old T. Colm O’Callaghan (his first name is pronounced more like “column” and less like “colm”) started in the hotel business at a 14-room hotel in Killarney, Ireland that was owned by his parents. In the late 1980s, he traded experience working in England, France, and Switzerland for New York, California, and Chicago. He was hotel manager at The Peninsula for three years and general manager of Conrad Chicago for two years.

Stunning

I took a trip to Chicago last August with my wife and parents and Trump blew me away. We ended up staying on the top (16th) floor of the Palmer House Hilton and when I opened my window I had a unobstructed view of Trump, perfectly framed by the Legacy Tower on the right. It was the most impressive urban view I have ever seen, except for the view from atop the John Hancock Tower of course. I think that this is one of those buildings that is much more impressive in person than in photographs. Although I managed to get some good low res picture of it while I was there. Overall, I give it an A-. :-)

It hasn't sold yet, and last I heard they have taken it off the market for a while (until the economy rebounds I assume), but from what I recall it was originally listed for upwards of $30 million.
