^out of my playing league!

Nice shot. Looks like a fun course to play, but there'd have to be nobody behind me.

I'll post these before full-fledged spring hits, since these tend to give the feeling of being cold.

Frozen Saint John River looking east down the valley at Nackawick

Ice on Chaleur Bay at Campbellton and the bridge to Quebec

A bit warmer, but still early spring, bridge over the Miramichi between Chatham and Newcastle.

Haha, the double-double... quite possibly the best drink ever created. I hate the Tims on Prospect though. They're painfully slow especially through evenings.

Photos by me
North River "Little Falls" (North River "Big Falls" are over 100 ft high and are the highest in CB, possibly NS)

CB Highlands Plateau behind the valleys, home to White's Hill (not visible in picture), highest point in NS at 535m (1,755 ft). I think that's the number, but I'll have to check it again.

Very nice additions. The thread is definitely worth the click too, even if you're on 56K (just go make a sandwich while it's loading ).

Thanks, it's easy to get carried away, but hard to choose when trying to convey something indepth. Not many people get to see C Brk, but it's worth the visit. People tend to see Gros Morne, and ignore some other areas. The photos were quite a bit of work in a short time.

I usually just post everything I take (more or less). I rarely weed anything out because I'm more concerned with trying to cover everything on whatever walkabout I'm on, since they're all cities nobody ever sees on here, which is also the reason I always park the car and walk around for a couple hours to get the photos, at least in terms of "urban" sets.

I always prefer to see a city in-depth rather than just the highlights, so thanks for sharing as many as you did.

You forgot about the ten percent rule, and that really applies when you are shooting into the sun (exposure problems) or in low light (blurriness), or traffic that gets in the way. Digital makes it possible to easily discard the other ninety percent, although that's on the high side for everyday photography.

Edit - Actually the rule was one good photo per roll of film, doesn't mean you have to stick to that.

Some pics of Saint John's north end not the best part, but it's character.

Nice photos, sometimes the "dilapidated" areas are more interesting.

In St. John's NL the worst old parts are generally West/Central near downtown. Some of it was demolished. In Halifax it's North, in Vancouver East. There always has to be a bad end somewhere.

Nice additions Seely. I have some on my computer from that neighbourhood that never got uploaded, but the area definitely has an abundance of character.
