Rogers vs Rexall vs Saddledome vs MTS

I've only ever seen shows at the Saddledome.

For those who have been to any or all of these venues, what order would you rate them in as far as watching a concert:

Rogers Arena in Vancouver
Rexall Place in Edmonton
Saddledome in Calgary
MTS Centre in Winnipeg

(this was prompted by the last Tragically Hip gig being played in all 4)

Only been to Rogers and the Dome. While I think the Dome is a cooler building (Hyperbolic paraboloid roof!), Rogers seemed better suited to large events (wider concourse). The biggest downfall of the Dome as a concert venue is the roof isn't great for acoustics, and the jumbotron can't be removed, so there are some weird areas for sound.

For concerts, I've been to MTS Centre several times and Rexall once. I can't honestly say that I recall any great difference in the experience because of venue. A Hip show would be great at any of the four listed venues... I mean, I last saw the Hip live at MLG in the 90s and it was an awesome show despite the fact that MLG was really not a great live music venue.

For concerts I've been to the Dome (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden), McMahon (Monsters of Rock in 2008), and a couple smaller shows in Mac Hall at the UofC. Would definitely take another outdoor concert at McMahon again. Too bad about bloody Varsity.

For concerts
Rexall- by far the best sound. No wonder a lot of live records are recorded there. I hope the new arena is as good.
Rodgers- good sound
MTS - only been to one concert
Saddledome- terrible sound and atmosphere, hurts that so many good artists skip Calgary.

While we're at it, Air Canada vs. Molson vs. Corel. Great comparison since they were all built around the same time (Corel and Molson opened in 96' while AC opened in 99') and are all roughly the same size. I've only ever seen a concert at Molson (Leonard Cohen in December 2013) and Hockey at Corel. Can't judge based on sound, but I would say Molson for location (obviously) and Corel for the entrance/concourse.
