Memorial Cup 2016

So with all 4 teams now having punched their ticket to Red Deer, who will come out on top....

My hope is Brandon / London final - with the Wheat Kings coming home with their first title.
With 5 players having come through BMHA, it would really be special!

London has one super-dominant line in Tkachuk (draft him high!)/Dvorak (Coyotes)/Marner (Leafs). They are weaker after that, however that line gives them a lot.

London-Rouyn final with probably London winning. Both teams have been dominant all season long.

Rouyn and London in the final but don't count Brandon out because Brandon is a pretty good team all season long.

I'm going for Rouyn. The Moncton Wildcats were the only team to give them a run for their money in the Q league playoffs (the Cats came within three minutes of forcing a game seven in their semi final series). It would be nice to think that we ended up losing to the eventual Memorial Cup champions.

Brandon rolls 4 lines, first 3 are strong.
Our top pair Dmen are the best in CHL...
Our chances will rise or fall with Paps ( goalie)
I like our chances , should be great hockey!

So London have been dominating this so far and have qualified for the final already after their 3 round robin games.

The Tkachuk/Dvorak/Marner line has 29 points in 3 games

Yeah, London is looking quite unstoppable at this point. They absolutely crushed Brandon and still had enough left to handle (CHL #1 ranked) Rouyn-Noranda the next night.

Should Brandon beat Red Deer tonight, does anybody know offhand what would happen for the semi-final? There would be 3 teams with a 1-2 record if that were to happen. I don't know how the tie-breakers work.

London all the way.
Considering they've outscored their opponents 3-1, I think they have a good chance of winning this.
Also they eliminated Erie. Any team that does that I will cheer for.

Really good game. I saw the first half of the game then had to go out. When I came back London scored the game winner less than a minute from when I starting watching it.

Congrats to the London Knights.

What a performance by the Knights! absolutely stomped everyone (except in the last game of course haha). This team reminded me of the Corey Perry teams.

I was hoping that the Huskies de Rouyn-Noranda would win. Rouyn is the closest city to Timmins btw. Those spoiled Londoners don't deserve it!!
