Some low-effort pics from a drive through downtown yesterday

It sure looks clunky in that last picture, but the base is one of the nicest I've seen.

I don't really like this building, but it's decent enough for infill. The lack of parking podium is a big win. Maybe no more dark grey and blue towers after this one???

To be fair, this building isn't blue at all. It's reflective glass and the sky is blue.

I do think the street-level interaction make this building a plus for downtown, however I do kinda hate all fat buildings. It should be the law that buildings cannot take up this much acreage downtown. I want a smorgasbord of skinny buildings.

The Thompson/tommie has just started posting their first jobs -- GM, Director of Sales and Marketing, etc. No indication on the job ads when the target opening is . . . though I'd assume 6-12 months.

I have to admit, it looks pretty good from I-35 from the northeast. It's still not my favorite, but it's not the worst.

Yes, this baby has some killer angles looking East from Colorado/5th. I actually wasn't sure what I was looking at

^ I think M.C. Escher could have designed some fun buildings.
